this is so calming!! i'm learning german in university right now, and when i was studying for college entrance exams a year ago i remember i used to always try think in german before falling asleep. it helped me a lot, because i knew that on the day of the oral exam if i was tired, i would still be able to understand what was going on haha. this is such a throwback and it's actually made me so much sleepier than normal because it used to be my sleep routine for a long time. i think i might go back to doing my german study at night! thanks abby for such an interesting video & viel glück on the rest of your language learning journey!! 🌟

It depends where in Germany you live! I live in the city and I hear a lot of english here, but in a small village I’d say knowing German is more necessary
